Mark as Useful I am receiving 6 to 7 calls a day from this number and NEED to have it stopped at all possible. Please assist where you can. If you answer the phone it just hangs up after about three seconds.

Mark as Useful Idiot called from this number, threatening legal action over a payday loan I never took. Hung up on him, and he called back. We did this dance 10 or 15 times, until I finally just let him sit silently on the phone. Late-night callback goes to voicemail for "AVRS" or some nonsense. Filed FTC complaint, and had the number blocked.
Similar situation happened about a year ago. They're using my maiden name, and states I've lived in before I moved here. Obviously a scam.

Mark as Useful The lady on the phone sounded like a bitch. Anyway, I think it was a debt collector, possibly from DirectTV asking for someone who used to live here but no longer does. I asked "twice" who's calling and she wouldn't tell me what company or association she's from, just that her name was "Jonie".
